What have you started lately that you wish you’d done sooner?

Saying NO! One of the wonderful things about turning 60, no longer having a corporate career and finding myself single is realising that I should have said NO more often. It’s powerful and liberating.

What’s a boundry you set in this decade that changed everything?

To no longer let other peoples judgement impact how I act or feel.

Creative brain or logical brain?

I take huge joy in creating things people love, art, food, fashion, events, holidays, writing, surprises but have a good measure of logic to deliver whatever it is!

When do you feel most powerful these days?

At the gym. I celebrate being strong not skinny, in pushing myself and ensuring I thank myself in 20 years time for investing in making myself stronger.

What’s a myth about ageing you’re happy to dispel?

You are never too old and it’s never too late to change.

Whats your current signature look?

Strong not skinny! Confidence not couture.

How would you describe your diet??

I eat high protein low carb with 1.25gms of protein to 1kg of body weight, cook from scratch and avoid sugar.

Me time - what does that look like for you?

Hiking in beautiful hills, soaking in nature is my way of meditating.

What daily non negotiable keeps your enegy and joy high?

Avoiding toxicity at all cost in all aspects of my life... and water!

What do you do to keep active?

What don’t I do? 10k steps, walking is the best form of low impact, fat burning exercise, 3 x 30 mins HIIT sessions per week and 2 hours with a PT. I also dance at any given opportunity.

What are you unapologetically done with?

Networking dinners.

What have you enjoyed learning lately?

I am sure constantly learning something new is key to mental acuity so seize the chance. I recently had my first stand up paddle board session and loved it. 😊

What’s the smartest investment (in money, health, or time) you made this decade?

To get to my fittest at 60. It’s opened up a new life for me in so many ways, mentally, physicallyand emotionally along with a total pivot in career into author and influencer.

If you could send a 10 second voice note to your younger self, what would it say??

Stop over thinking, stop worrying what others think. Be the best version of you. When you focus on and celebrate your strengths not others you will not only enjoy what you do, you will be successful at it.

2 kinds of problems . There’s things you can do something about, so do it. Those you can’t? Stop worrying about it.
